Folders remain protected should your PC be rebooted into Windows Safe Mode or DOS. A nice feature is the ability to include a password hint. This security software provides a simple and effective way to password-protect any type of documents including but not limited to .doc and .xls files. You can even password-protect Windows programs. It's a sound idea to protect your backup files so that your sensitive information does not end up in the wrong hands. Folder Security can protect folders located on USB external, removable, and network drives. It supports both FAT32 and NTFS drives.
